Still the best tablet for productivity

There are tablets and there is the iPad. Apple’s iPad is a workhorse, a gaming platform, a social distancing portal, and is a breeze for most anyone to use. The 2020 Apple iPad Pro is the most powerful version of the fruit company’s slate-style machines, and the fresh hardware heralds new productivity powers.

In the Android Authority Apple 2020 iPad Pro review, we assess whether or not it is the tablet for those already steeped wholly in Google’s ecosystem.

Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX review: Redefining GPU accelerated machine learning

Nvidia launched the Jetson Xavier NX embedded System-on-Module (SoM) at the end of last year. It is pin-compatible with the Jetson Nano SoM and includes a CPU, a GPU, PMICs, DRAM, and flash storage. However, it was missing an important accessory, its own development kit. Since a SoM is an embedded board with just a row of connector pins, it is hard to use out-of-the-box. A development board connects all the pins on the module to ports like HDMI, Ethernet, and USB. A Jetson module combined with a development board looks similar to a Raspberry Pi or other Single Board

Is ‘good enough’ good enough?

TCL is relying heavily on the visibility of its TV sets, which speckle showroom floors at major electronics retailers, to boost its brand awareness in the US. Following last year’s Plex, the TCL 10 Pro and 10L are the company’s first own-branded phones to reach the US market and they have a steep hill to climb. If there’s anything they have going for them, it’s price. At $449 and $249, respectively, the 10 Pro and 10L are attainable. Will budget-conscious shoppers find TCL’s affordable fare appealing enough to buy?

Logitech G Pro X Review: Finally, decent software

Logitech has sold gaming headsets for as long as they’ve been around. However, as plentiful as Logitech’s lineup is, most of the headsets have been rather average. The Logitech G Pro X reflects a change in pace as the company looks to up its game.

This new headset draws on the preferences of pro gamers to provide a top-notch experience for an affordable price. Does it come out on top?

Who is the Logitech G Pro X for?

  • Gamers looking for something they can wear for long sessions, be it a competition or all-nighter with friends.
  • At-home workers who need

a laptop learning from smartphones

If you ask this pundit, connected PCs are the future of the laptop market. Windows on Arm is the leading project in the space, and continues to evolve following several years of private and public development. Samsung has clearly deemed it good enough for its new Galaxy Book S, replacing last generation’s Intel CPU for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chipset.

Samsung’s pitch promises multi-day battery life, an always-on 4G LTE connection, and a premium thin-and-light design. It’s a similar premise to Microsoft’s Surface Pro X, but with a slightly lower $999 price point and fixed keyboard. So let’s

Fitbit Versa 2 review: Inching towards greatness

Update: May 15, 2020: We have updated our Fitbit Versa 2 review with details on pricing information.

Fitbit Versa 2

The Fitbit Versa 2 combines Fitbit’s fitness knowledge with the brain of a smartwatch. The result is one of the best smartwatches you can buy today, regardless of whether you own an iPhone or Android smartphone.

Fitbit had a hit on its hands with the Fitbit Versa. It was a cheaper, more user-friendly alternative to the bulky Ionic. More importantly, it showed Fitbit had the potential to make a truly good smartwatch, not just a fitness tracker with smart features.

HyperX Cloud Flight S review: Sticking the landing

HyperX puts out some of the best gaming headsets on the market, and has done so for years. With the HyperX Cloud Flight S, the company is looking to make a play for a more premium part of the market. It’s not as flashy as the Cloud Orbit S, or as cheap as the Cloud Alpha, but it’s got a lot going for it. The HyperX Cloud Flight S is a premium offering with restraint — it has a lot of features, but only ones people would actually find useful. Does it stick the landing?

Who is the HyperX Cloud

Great fitness tracker, limited smartwatch

Smartwatches are difficult to get right. Some of Huawei’s past offerings have fallen short, sometimes with respect to software, other times with battery life. Other companies have tried to do too much — putting a tiny smartphone on your wrist — with mixed results. Apple’s WatchOS and Google’s Wear OS certainly offer more tools and features than Huawei’s Lite OS, but is more always better? The Watch GT 2 aims to strip everything superfluous from a smartwatch and nail the basics.
